This project aimed to recycle denim jeans. I had to find a pattern with
pieces of a limited size considering the width of
a jeans' leg. I got my inspiration from an
Alexander McQueen dress and designed the
pattern by molding on a dressing form. The original model was blue
but since the jeans featured
slightly different coulours
and were already faded, I
decided to dye the dress in
black. This upcycling left me
with less than 5% scraps
Materials used : two
old ripped jeans,
white cotton poplin,
jeans buttons, push
buttons.
